The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
